Pen pals, the slow way.

Write a letter to someone across the world. Choose an envelope, add a stamp, and let it travel for a few hours before it lands.

A letter, not a message

There are no typing dots and no read-at-a-glance chats. Your letter takes the long way, and that is the point.

  1. Write

To a pen pal we find for you, or to a friend by their ID. Pick your paper, font and ink.

  2. On its way

Choose an envelope and a stamp. Your letter travels like real mail.

Arrives in 3 to 6 hours
  3. Delivered

It waits in their Unread box. They keep the ones they love and reply when they are ready.

Every letter leaves something behind

Stamps and envelopes on the letters you receive go straight into your album. The greyed-out ones are still out there.

  • A stamp album that fills up as pen pals write to you, with where each one first came from.
  • A map of your letters that colours in every country your mail has come from.
  • Envelopes and postcards are collected too, so every letter adds something new.

Every letter leaves a line on the map

See where your letters came from and where they went. Countries warm up as the mail adds up, and letters still on their way cross the map until they land.

Or just send a postcard

A short note with a picture on the front, for the days a whole letter feels like too much.
